Located along Ashey Road just outside of Ryde, Retro Staycations countryside retreat is conveniently located and easy to find
From Ryde
- From Ryde town centre, east on St Thomas‘ Square/A3054
- Turn right onto High Street/A3054
- Turn left onto West Street
- After 0.3 miles turn right onto Swanmore Road
- Quickly followed by a left turn onto Ashey Road
- Follow the road down 07 miles past Trotters Riding School until you get to Smallbrook roundabout
- Go straight across at the roundabout
- Hazelgrove Farm is located 0.4 miles on your right
- Once inside the farm entrance, follow the signs up the lane to Retro Staycations
From Newport
- Head out of Newport on Staplers Road
- At the gyratory, turn second left onto Long Lane
- At the Robin Hill roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Downend Road
- Turn left onto at the Hare & Hounds traffic lights onto The Downs Road
- Continue 2.4 miles across the downs onto Ashey Road
- Pass Ashey Garage on your right and go over the railway bridge
- Hazelgrove Farm is located 0.3 miles on your left
- Once inside the farm entrance, follow the signs up the lane to Retro Staycations
Check-in & Check-out
If you're staying in one of our American Airstream caravans, check-in is from 3pm on the day of arrival and check-out is before 10am on the day of departure.
If you plan to arrive after 6pm please let us know. We kindly request that you arrive within daylight hours to familiarise yourself with the workings of your Airstream and any little quirks, thereby ensuring the best possible experience for you.
If you've booked a traditional grass camping pitch or camping pod, please get in touch with us and we will endeavour to check you in earlier, subject to availability. Self check-in is also available for late arrivals.
The minimum age for check-in is 21.
Your welcome pack includes useful information about your classic caravan, the site and a variety of local Island amenities and attractions.
Occupancy
The maximum number of staying guests per classic caravan is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website.
Prices are inclusive of 2 adults as standard plus any children up to and including the age of 17 in accordance with the maximum number of guests per caravan.
Any additional adults up to the maximum number of guests per caravan are chargeable at £10 per person per night, which includes additional bedding and towels.
Camping pitches are charged per tent/accommodation unit and the price includes 2 adults. Additional adults are charged at £4 per night, children aged 17 or under are only £1. Please see our current camping tariff here.
Bookings
When you wish to place a booking for a holiday with us, you can do so via our online booking system. If you choose to make a booking request via telephone or email we will email you a payment request based on the information you have provided us with.
As soon as you receive a confirmation of booking please check it carefully.
All bookings for Airstream caravans are subject to a minimum 2-night stay. Traditional camping and eco pods may be booked for a minimum 1-night stay.
Cancellation Policy
Excluding Covid-related cancellations, our general cancellation policy applies.
Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible. We are happy to reschedule dates, subject to availability.
All guests should familiarise themselves with both policies prior to booking.
